How EmergencyResponders.ie collects, uses and protects personal data submitted through this website, in line with GDPR and Irish data-protection law.

EmergencyResponders.ie respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, why we collect it, how long we keep it and the rights you have under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Irish Data Protection Act 2018.

Who we are

EmergencyResponders.ie is an independent platform based in Ireland. We are the data controller for personal data submitted through this website. You can contact us at any time at stephen@emergencyresponders.ie.

What we collect

  • Contact enquiries: your name, email address, phone number (if you choose to provide it), organisation, reason for contact and the content of your message.
  • Newsletter sign-ups: your email address and the date of your consent.
  • Technical data: limited information required to serve and secure the website, such as your IP address in server logs.

We do not ask for special category data, and you should not send sensitive personal information, operational details or patient information through this website.

Why we use it, and our legal basis

  • To reply to you—legitimate interests, or performance of a request you have made.
  • To send occasional newsletters—your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
  • To keep the website secure and working—legitimate interests.

Sharing your data

We do not sell your personal data and we do not share it for advertising. Data is stored with our hosting and database providers, who process it on our instructions and under contract. Where data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, it is protected by appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

Contact enquiries are kept for up to 24 months after your query is resolved. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Server logs are kept for a short period for security purposes.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time.
